DESIGN SERVICE

We believe good design should not only look beautiful but fundamentally should go deeper than this. A good design serves function and purpose for the task at hand. At Oliver Henry we design with this in mind with all of of our cabinetry handcrafted by us in-house. We work in collaboration with you to create a space that reflects you as an individual, taking into account lifestyle, inspirations and necessities. A good designer listens, inspires and delivers.

Whilst our sole business is cabinetry, we work closely with a number of other manufacturers. Products we can obtain include sinks, taps, handles, lighting, waste management systems and storage. We offer a competitive price against online retailers whilst providing an extensive knowledge in all products. We advise all our clients to view current commissions to obtain an idea of workmanship and quality. We also have a small studio/office upstairs with a vast range of tactile samples available to view.

ALL WORKSHOP AND STUDIO VISITS BY  APPOINTMENT ONLY.

INITIAL DESIGN CONSULTATION

We provide an initial FREE consultation. This can be executed in the comfort of your own home or our workshop (by appointment only).  During this time, we discuss your ideas, whilst also taking brief internal measurements of the room you wish to be created. Should your potential project not be built, we also design off-plan. Whether that be architects plans through to hand drawn sketches.  We can design a range of other interiors alongside kitchens too. Particular clients favourites include multimedia/tv, studies and boot rooms.

FOLLOW UP DESIGN CONSULTATION

Once all your information has been collaborated, we transform  this into a reality. With full  2D and 3D CAD floorplan designs, costings and  variable options for the client to view. Should you wish to proceed we then request an initial 10% deposit to secure both your drawings and kitchen installation date.

FINAL DESIGN CONSULTATION

During this period we discuss final specification and designs are chosen with all intricate details discussed. Ranging from cornice profiles to carcass materials to aged brass door handles.  Followed by a full detailed site survey with copies of all drawings supplied to the client once final designs have been drawn up and agreed.  40% is requested 8 weeks prior to the agreed installation date, with another 40% paid on delivery of cabinetry. The remaining balance is due, once our bespoke cabinetry has been installed.
